Windstar Cruises is launching its collection of 2014 Caribbean and Costa Rican voyages with 2-for-1 cruise fares, plus bonus savings up to $1,000 per stateroom when booked by December 29, 2012. Wind Surf, the company’s flagship, will enter into dry dock on November 12th at Lisnave, a Portuguese shipyard. Wind Spirit’s public spaces will be refurbished shortly after, starting on November 25th. Wind Star, the sister yacht to Wind Spirit, was fully renovated in April of this year.

Windstar Cruises announced that Alan McGrory has joined the company as Vice President of Marine Hotel Operations. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Windstar’s Marine Hotel Operations and enhancing the onboard guest experience. McGrory will report directly to Hans Birkholz, CEO and President of Windstar.
