Joe Thompson, currently senior vice president of sales and distribution for Virgin Atlantic, has been appointed as managing director of Virgin Holidays. He will take up the role with effect July 2017 following parental leave.

Amadeus and Virgin Holidays have signed a broad ranging technology partnership that will utilise the latest advances in fares and shopping technology. The latest Worldwide Journeys brochure launches on 6th September, offering a collection of tours across a range of countries and destinations - from the Pyramids and Temples of Egypt to the Rocky Mountains of Vancouver.
