Vietnam is seeking to promote more of its beloved national cuisine to international tourists, according to a project announced by the Việt Nam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA).

The Japanese Mikazuki Group-invested Mikazuki Hotel has officially opened its doors in Da Nang’s Lien Chieu District.

For many years now, Vietnam has been a popular tourist destination - in fact, prior to the start of the COVID pandemic in 2019, over 18 million international tourists visited the country. Hundreds of thousands of expatriates have also decided to make Vietnam their home. A report from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs shows that as of April, 2021 there were about 101,550 foreigners working in Vietnam on a permanent basis.

Nara Binh Tien Golf Club is officially opening for operations, becoming the first golf course to open in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan Province. The nation’s golf tourism sector is experiencing an unprecedented period of expansion.

Plans for the Vietnam International Travel Mart have been unveiled during an event in Ha Noi. The showcase will be hosted by the Vietnam Tourism Association.

Vietnam has announced that it has re-opened its borders to international visitors with immediate effect. All travellers will, however, be required to show proof of a negative PCR test.
