Despite stiff competition from some of the finest resorts in the country, the world class offerings at The Belfry were enough to see the resort claim the title once again in Sardinia.
The Belfry Hotel & Resort has once again outlined its outstanding credentials among the world’s leading golf resorts by receiving top awards for ‘England’s Best Golf Course’ and ‘England’s Best Golf Hotel’ at the annual World Golf Awards in Portugal. The renowned Midlands resort saw off some of the finest competition to receive the accolades for the exceptional facilities and first class levels of service across the resort, alongside the world’s only four-time Ryder Cup host course, The Brabazon, proving that it remains one of the most desired and enjoyable golf courses in the UK.
The Belfry Hotel & Resort has been included alongside some of the world’s most premium resorts in two categories at this year’s World Travel Awards: ‘England’s Leading Resort’ and ‘England’s Leading Conference Hotel’. This brace of nominations highlights the all-round excellence of the leisure offering at The Belfry, following a fantastic 2014, when it cemented itself as the leading golf resort in the country.
As part of a major renovation of iconic golf resort The Belfry; Glen Watson, has been appointed as Chef Director in a bid to turn the West Midlands hotel in to a top gastronomic destination.
