TAP Portugal to add two new USA routes this summer
TAP has announced this week two new daily non-stop services from Lisbon to Boston’s Logan International Airport commencing on June 11th. The Portuguese carrier also confirmed a new departure to New York’s John F. Kennedy International on July 1st.
TAP Portugal reveals TAP Express brand
TAP Portugal has announced significant changes taking place throughout the next two years. Among the investments, which have a focus on improving both airline efficiency and passenger comfort, will be the addition of 53 new aircrafts, €60 million to be spent on cabin interiors, €2 million for a new digital reservations platform and the increase and renovation of fleet.
Tap Portugal places 53 plane order with Airbus
TAP Portugal has signed a firm order with Airbus for 53 Widebody and single aisle aircraft including 14 A330-900neo, and 39 A320neo Family aircraft (15 A320neos and 24 A321neos). The aircraft will join TAP Portugal’s fleet as part of its fleet renewal announced by the airline’s new majority owner Atlantic Gateway.

TAP completes Terminal 2 move at London Heathrow as winter flight schedule expands
TAP, the leading airline from Portugal to the UK, has completed the move of its operations at London Heathrow to the new and improved Terminal 2. TAP’s network of routes from London Heathrow are now all operating from the airport’s new Terminal 2 facilities, including check-in, boarding and lounges for passengers.
