TAP adds six new summer destinations to 2017 route network
TAP Portugal will launch six new destinations for summer 2017. As of June and July 2017, TAP will fly via its hub in Lisbon to the new countries of: Canada (Toronto), Hungary (Budapest) and Romania (Bucharest), as well as new destinations in Spain (Las Palmas and Alicante) and Germany (Stuttgart). Additionally, TAP will reinforce frequencies from Manchester and London Gatwick to Lisbon.

TAP Portugal launches ONE WAY fare structure
TAP Portugal announced the launch of ONE WAY fares for all Intercontinental destinations, thus becoming one of the first European airlines to offer customers a simple, more flexible and transparent fare structure. These new fares are valid to travel on or after November 15th, 2016.
TAP Portugal celebrates success of Stopover Programme
TAP Portugal has revealed the success of its recently launched Stopover Programme. The Stopover gives customers the possibility of visiting two destinations, with a stay in Portugal (Lisbon or Porto) during the same trip, as well as offering a host of exclusive additions to make their experience truly memorable. Launched last July, the product has proven highly popular and has been used by over 20,000 customers.

TAP has been awarded the titles of Europe’s Leading Airline to Africa and Europe’s Leading Airline to South America at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony 2016. This marks the third consecutive year TAP has received the two leading airline awards.
TAP launches new fare structure
TAP has launched a new fare structure designed to better serve its customers and provide a greater degree of flexibility, ensuring travellers pay only for the services they need. Offered on all journeys to and from Europe and North Africa, TAP has launched six new products - four in Economy Class (Discount, Basic, Classic and Plus) and two in Executive Class (Executive and Top Executive).
TAP boosts Portugal departures from London Gatwick
TAP has confirmed an increase in the number of weekly flights operating from London Gatwick to Lisbon and Porto, as part of its winter operations timetable. The timetable will come into operation on October 30th. The increases bring TAP’s winter schedule to a total of 71 direct weekly flights to Portugal from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.
TAP launches Portugal Stopover to international travellers
TAP Portugal is introducing a Portugal Stopover, giving passengers the option of visiting two destinations, with a stay in Lisbon or Porto for up to three days during the same trip. Passengers flying on round trips starting in the UK and flying to the American continent, Brazil or Africa as the destination, and vice versa, will be able to enjoy the stopover.
TAP welcomes Olympic athletes to new safety video
TAP Portugal has showcased the country’s athletes in the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games by launching a new safety video. The Portuguese Olympic Committee’s official carrier will show the video on all of its long-haul aircraft. The video is released the year that TAP, the leading airline to Brazil, commemorates 50 years of flights to Rio de Janeiro, the host city of the 2016 Olympic Games.
TAP Portugal boosts United States flights with two new routes
TAP Portugal has increased its direct non-stop weekly flights to the United States as it welcomes the introduction of its new A330 aircraft to the fleet. The Star Alliance-member will now offer daily non-stop direct flights from Lisbon to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York and the Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts.
TAP launches Embraer 190 as JetBlue partnership takes off
TAP is continuing to upgrade its service offering to customers, both in comfort through the introduction of the Embraer 190, and an extended route network within the US through a new code-share with JetBlue. The first E190 aircraft took its maiden flight for the airline on route TP488, from Lisbon to Nice, France.
TAP set to launch Airspace by Airbus cabin brand
TAP, the leading airline to Portugal from the UK, has signed an agreement to become the first airline to operate the new A330neo airliner, and therefore also become the launching carrier to fly the Airspace by Airbus cabin brand. Passengers will be able to experience the highly anticipated new Airspace by Airbus cabin when these aircraft enter service at the end of 2017.
