Tourism Australia and Qantas have signed on for a content-led campaign with The Guardian and Telegraph newspapers in the UK. The campaign, which will run in February and March, shares the story of why there’s nothing like attending a major sporting event in Australia and encouraging people travelling to the Ashes to enjoy experiences beyond the cricket grounds.

Malaysia Airlines Berhad has struck a deal with Liverpool Football club to become the official Global airline partner. The deal brings together two major international brands: Malaysia Airlines and Liverpool FC, with 18 League titles and five time champions of Europe.
The National Football League has generated an average impact of US$75 million on hotel room revenue during the past eight seasons, according to a study by STR’s consulting and analytics division. In 2015, the NFL had a net impact of US$77 million on hotel room revenue. For the purposes of its analysis, STR matched every NFL game since 2008 with its respective home city to determine the impact on local hotels.

Experience Kissimmee and West Ham United Football Club have announced a three-year partnership naming the Florida tourism marketing bureau as the team’s Official Destination Partner. In addition, Marriott International will become an official partner of USA Basketball.
