Sandals Resorts On Schedule With First Ever Over-The-Water Suites In St Lucia
Sandals, the world’s leading Luxury Included holiday company, is excited to reveal that its plans for the first ever over-the-water suites in St Lucia are on schedule to begin construction early 2011 and welcome guests in 2012 at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort.
Sandals raises the luxury factor with new Bahamas resort
The luxury stakes in the Bahamas have been raised several notches following the grand opening of the Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma. Set on one of the Bahamas’ most beautiful Out Islands, it becomes the 14th Sandals resort in the Caribbean, and the first to offer a Greg Norman-designed golf course, plus a host of other world-class facilities.

Sandals to enter corporate market
Sandals plans to enter the corporate market for the first time with Sandals City. The hotel will be built in Kingston, and marks a departure from the group’s traditional all-inclusive leisure concept. Sandals chairman Butch Stewart told the newspaper that Sandals City will have conference and banquet rooms, plus a spa, racquetball, tennis courts and a gym.

Sandals Resorts International has announced the purchase of the recently-closed Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma at Emerald Bay for an undisclosed sum. The property is the fourteenth Sandals Resort in the Caribbean, and its third in the Bahamas.

During the week of April 27, 2009, viewers of Wheel of Fortune will be whisked away to an island paradise as America’s most popular game show presents Sandals Resort Week.
