Ryanair opens Brussels base
Ryanair has opened its second Belgian base at Brussels Zaventem with four aircraft set to offer ten new routes, delivering up to 1.5 million passengers per year. The low cost carrier revealed the move will result in sustaining 1,500 “on-site” jobs at Brussels Zaventem Airport with 200 weekly flights.

Ryanair has launched two new flights from London Stansted, with departures now headed for Bordeaux in France and Rabat in Morocco. The low cost carrier will operate three weekly flights to Bordeaux on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Leeds Bradford Airport welcomes new Ryanair flights
Leeds Bradford Airport has announced Ryanair are introducing a three times weekly service to Girona Barcelona, serving the Costa Brava region in Spain commencing on April 1st 2014. Flights are scheduled to depart from LBA on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will operate throughout the summer season until the October 25th.

Ryanair is opening a new base in Lisbon in April. It will operate four new routes to Manchester, Dole and Marseille in France, and Pisa.
Ryanair opens 4 Manchester routes in 2014

Ryanair cuts airport baggage fees
Ryanair is cutting its standard airport bag fees from €60/£60 to €30/£30 at the bag drop desk, and from €60/£60 to €50/£50 at the boarding gate, bringing Ryanair’s bag fees into line with competitor airline’s standard airport bag fees. This is the latest customer service improvement from Ryanair including a newly launched website, quiet flights.

Ryanair’s customer registration service is now live on the Ryanair.com website. All Ryanair customers can now create their own personal profile and securely store their personal details online, which will help them to make faster bookings and check-in quicker online via the site.
Ryanair to operate new routes out of Bologna
Ryanair has announced two new routes from Bologna Airport, Italy. From April 1st next year the low-cost carrier will fly to Manchester and Oslo (Rygge). The connection to Oslo will have two weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while the flight to Manchester will have three weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ryanair, today (9 Dec) delivered an early Christmas present to customers by cutting its excess baggage fee by 50% (from €20/£20 to €10/£10 per kg) from Mon 9 Dec.
