Royal Brunei Airlines has launched Royal Brunei Holidays, a new online dynamic packaging service. Fully-integrated into the Royal Brunei website, the new booking system will allow guests to book their flights, hotels, transfers and tours all at once.
Royal Brunei Airlines to resume flights to Beijing in December
Royal Brunei Airlines has announced that it plans to resume direct flights to Beijing in December. The expansion of RB’s service into China will begin with a twice weekly service to Beijing using the Airbus A320 chief executive and with an additional weekly service added at the earliest opportunity.

Royal Brunei Airlines has announced a commercial partnership with Club 1 Hotels, a members-only luxury hotel club. The partnership will enable RB’s passengers to earn Royal Skies frequent flyer miles on every booking of hotel accommodation and car rental made with the hotel club.

Royal Brunei Airlines has launched a new fly-rail-coach product with rail and coach operators in the UK. The launch will make RB one of the few airlines in the UK to offer passengers and agents a simplified travel booking service.
New UK country manager for Royal Brunei Airlines
Royal Brunei Airlines has announced the appointment of Adiel Mambara as its new UK country manager. Promoted from UK sales and marketing manager, Mambara will be tasked with growing RB’s business class customer base and increasing market share to RB’s key destinations. In his ten years at RB, Mambara has been instrumental in building RB’s strategic partnerships and increasing the number of business passengers flying with RB, particularly among SMEs.
Chand to step into chief executive role with Royal Brunei
After five years of service as deputy chairman of Royal Brunei Airlines, Dermot Mannion has announced he will shortly depart from Brunei, on completion of his term of office. He will be succeeded in the capacity of chief executive by Karam Chand. Chand was previously chief commercial and planning officer at Royal Brunei.
Royal Brunei signs codeshare deal with Turkish Airlines
Royal Brunei Airlines has signed a codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines which allows for passengers to connect from Bandar Seri Begawan to Istanbul via Dubai. The agreement was signed in Antalya, Turkey, by Karam Chand, Royal Brunei chief commercial officer and Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Airlines chief investment and technology officer.
New sales leadership for Royal Brunei in UK
Royal Brunei Airlines has formally announced the appointment of Christina Vidos as UK country manager, joining as the airline celebrates its 25th year of flying from the destination. Vidos joins RB with a wealth of experience in the airline industry spanning over 30 years. As well as continuing to grow RB’s share of the UK’s long-haul market, she will particularly be focusing on boosting RB’s offering for SMEs.
Royal Brunei Airlines receives first Boeing Dreamliner
Boeing and Royal Brunei Airlines celebrated the delivery of the 787 Dreamliner – the first for the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Brunei and for south-east Asia. The airplane departed Paine Field in Everett Wednesday evening for a 6,540 nautical miles non-stop flight home to Bandar Seri Begawan International Airport in Brunei.
IFE Services supplys entertainment to Royal Brunei Airlines
The agreement covers the provision of innovative and engaging in-flight entertainment for the airline’s fleet of A319, A320, B777 and new B787 aircraft. The IFE package, which passengers can enjoy on their individual audio visual on-demand (AVOD) seat-back and PTV screens and also on overhead screens on part of the fleet, will include a selection of latest release and classic Hollywood movies as well as international films from the Middle East and countries including France, Germany, Spain, Japan, India and China.

Royal Brunei Airlines has signed a worldwide cargo partnership agreement with Air Logistics. This partnership will be in full force in three months time and will activate Air Logistics Group global network of 71 offices for the worldwide sales and marketing of RB cargo capacity.
Royal Brunei boasts improved services to Melbourne
Royal Brunei Airlines has activated an experiential marketing campaign and media partnership with Global Radio this week to help raise awareness of its recently improved service to Melbourne. The activity will see RB experiential staff and Capital FM street stars take over Earls Court tube station with the distribution of ‘route to relaxation’ sleeping masks designed to encourage consumers to think about the different ways they unwind.
