Routes Africa underway in Seychelles

The seventh Routes Africa has opened in the Kempinski Resort Hotel in the Seychelles, with a high level Strategy Forum that dealt with the key issues in African aviation. Tops on the agenda included: Liberalisation vs. Competition; the Global Outlook for Africa; and finding ways to unlock the opportunities and challenges in the region.

Linhas Aereas de Mozambique has become the 25th carrier to register for the annual Routes Africa event, with chief executive Marlene Mendes Manave confirming her attendance in the Seychelles next month. Other high level airline delegates in attendance this year will include Gebremaraim Tewolde, chief executive of Ethiopian Airlines, Cramer Ball, chief executive of Air Seychelles, both of whom registered earlier this year to take part in the Routes Africa Strategy Forum.
