Rixos Hotels has marked a major milestone in its Middle East expansion strategy after signing an agreement to manage its largest all-inclusive luxury resort on the Red Sea coast of Egypt.

Rixos Hotels has revealed that Cenk Unverdi has been appointed regional general manager of its properties in the United Arab Emirates. He now oversees all day-to-day operations of the four five-star properties in the United Arab Emirates, including Rixos the Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites, Rixos Premium Dubai, the newly opened Rixos Saadiyat Island and Rixos Bab Al Bahr.

Qetaifan Projects Company, a subsidiary of Katara Hospitality which was established to develop and manage Qetaifan Island North, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rixos Hotels to manage and operate the hotels, the souq, the water park and the beach club in the destination.
