Qatar Airways Cargo launches Dallas-Fort Worth route
Qatar Airways Cargo has announced it will launch a new freighter route to Dallas/Fort Worth commencing operations on January 19th, 2016, increasing its network to six freighter destinations in the Americas. A Qatar Airways Cargo Boeing 777F will fly two times a week to Dallas from Liege.

Qatar Airways has launched new services between Doha and Durban. Travellers can now choose from a total of 21 flights a week to South Africa from Qatar Airways’ hub Hamad International Airport.

Qatar Airways brings Airbus A350 to United States for first time
Qatar Airways today becomes the first airline to fly the Airbus A350 to the United States. The ferry flight left Hamad International Airport this morning at 07:40 local time and will land in at JFK International at approximately 14:00 local time. Qatar Airways was the global launch carrier of the A350 and is the first to fly the aircraft to three continents; the airline’s fleet of seven A350s currently flies twice a day to Frankfurt, daily to Munich and three times a day to Singapore from Doha.
Qatar Airways starts non-stop flights to Nagpur
Qatar Airways is offering non-stop flights to Nagpur from Doha, taking the airline’s total weekly passenger flights from 95 to 102 across 13 key cities in India. Qatar Airways will operate an A320 daily between Doha and Nagpur with an average flight time of just over four hours. The aircraft will feature 144 seats in a two-class configuration of 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy.
Qatar Airways signs rental car partnerships
Qatar Airways signed new partnerships with Booking.com and Rentalcars.com, providing its passengers with an easy and cost-effective way to access competitively priced places to stay and car rentals when booking their flights via the Qatar Airways website. Under the partnerships, Qatar Airways’ passengers can book and pay online for accommodation at over 800,000 properties in nearly 83,000 exciting destinations, and rent from more than 40,000 car rental locations in 167 countries.
SUN-AIR signs codeshare deal with Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways has signed a code-share agreement with Danish carrier SUN-AIR, a franchise of British Airways. From October, SUN-AIR and Qatar Airways will introduce code-share flights between Billund, Aalborg and Aarhus in Jutland, the Western part of Denmark, and several European destinations including Oslo, Brussels, Manchester and Munich.
Qatar Airways unveils Sydney route for spring 2016
Qatar Airways will launch daily direct services from Doha to Sydney starting from March 1st, 2016. This will be the third Australian city in the Qatar Airways network. Currently, the Doha-based carrier operates daily non-stop flights to Melbourne and Perth with a total of 14 services each week.
Qatar Airways boosts European route network
Qatar Airways is continuing its rapid growth and responding to increasing demand within Europe with a substantial increase in flight frequencies to Stockholm in Sweden, Copenhagen in Denmark and Brussels in Belgium. From December 1st 2015, flights from Doha to Stockholm, Sweden, will expand from a ten-times weekly service to 13 flights per week, a capacity increase of 30 per cent on the route. The increase is seasonal and valid until March 25th 2016.
