Disney Cruise Line Announces Inaugural Sailings to New Island Destination
Disney Cruise Line announced today the inaugural dates and select itineraries for its new island destination in The Bahamas, headlining a season full of new and guest-favorite itineraries around the world in summer 2024.
Carnival to build new terminal at Port Canaveral
Carnival Cruise Line has reached an agreement in principle with the Canaveral Port Authority on a new state-of-the-art terminal. The facility will be able to accommodate its new 180,000-ton ship, the largest ever constructed for the line, set to debut in 2020.
Carnival Pride Makes Grand Return to Canaveral
Port Canaveral today welcomed back the Carnival Pride to its original homeport during the first of 18 calls scheduled this year from Baltimore. Carnival Pride was inaugurated in Canaveral in January 2002 and homeported here until fall 2003. It was replaced with the larger Carnival Glory, which today sails eastern and western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral and will be replaced later this year by the largest Carnival ship ever, the Carnival Dream.
