Millennium & Copthorne Hotels to launch three Muscat properties
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Middle East & Africa will open three new properties in the Sultanate of Oman in the coming months, starting with the launch of a global brand first, the 115-key Millennium Executive Apartments property in Muscat, in quarter one of 2015. Two further Millennium hotels will be added to the group portfolio in 2015 in the Omani capital, Grand Millennium Hotel Muscat and Copthorne Hotel Muscat.
Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay set to open in early 2015

Millennium & Copthorne brings Studio M brand to life in Riyadh
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Middle East & Africa has unveiled plans to launch its Studio M brand in Riyadh in partnership with Saudi owner Waseel Properties and developer Raseel Properties. The 145-key property is the first Studio M brand in the Middle East and will be centrally located in Riyadh on King Fahd Road and is due to open in quarter two of 2015.
Ascott adds Saudi accommodation capacity with Jeddah deal
The Ascott has deepened its presence in Saudi Arabia as it secured agreements to manage two more serviced residences in the vibrant port city of Jeddah. The 51-unit Citadines Sari Jeddah is slated to open in 2015 while the 135-unit Somerset Corniche Jeddah, the first Somerset-branded serviced residence in Saudi Arabia, will open in 2016.
Langham comes to Dubai with Palm Jumeirah property
Langham Hospitality Group announced earlier it had signed an agreement with DAS Real Estate to manage The Langham resort in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Located on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah and scheduled to open in 2015, this 323-room resort marks double landmark “firsts” for the Hong Kong-based hotel company: it is the group’s first foray into the Middle East and the first resort in its global collection.
Rotana confirms signing of ten properties in Middle East
Rotana has announced the signing of ten new hotels in the UAE, Iran and Sudan. The new hotels are expected to open their doors before 2020 contributing to Rotana’s vision of 100 hotels by this date. Cementing its position as the largest hotel operator in the UAE, Rotana has signed five new hotels in Dubai, which will increase the company’s total number of properties in the emirate to 20.
Hilton Abu Dhabi Saadiyat Island Resort set for 2015 opening
Hilton Worldwide is set to further strengthen its presence in the UAE following the signing of a management agreement with long standing associates, Bin Otaiba Investment Group, to introduce a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel to Abu Dhabi’s iconic Saadiyat Island. The 366-room new-build Hilton Abu Dhabi Saadiyat Island Resort will enjoy a prime location at Saadiyat Beach, one of seven distinct districts making up Saadiyat Island, a thoughtfully planned 27-km island development off the coast of the UAE capital, dedicated to fine living, culture and nature conservation.
