Wyndham partners with Zeus for 20 south-eastern Europe properties
Wyndham Hotel Group and Zeus International, a Greek hotel management and consulting company, have announced plans to build upon their existing partnership with a new strategic development agreement.

Marriott International has announced the expansion of its extended-stay brand, Residence Inn by Marriott, with the signing of two new properties in London. With additional openings in Amsterdam and Aberdeen this year, Residence Inn expects to more than double its European portfolio in 2017.
Hilton Saint Petersburg ExpoForum opens in Russia
Hilton today announced the opening of Hilton Saint Petersburg ExpoForum, marking the debut of Hilton Hotels & Resorts in the northwest region of the Russian Federation. The new-build hotel is part of the ExpoForum Complex, which attracts more than 400 events per year including conferences, corporate functions, shows and sporting events.

San Domenico Palace Hotel has reopened its doors following its acquisition by Italian real estate expert, Statuto Luxury Hotels, last year. The historic hotel is set to host a selection of the world’s political leaders during the upcoming G7 meeting in Taormina in May.
Meliá Palma Bay to open at start of April
Meliá Hotels International will open the new Palau de Congressos de Palma (Convention Centre) and its adjoining hotel, Meliá Palma Bay, on April 1st. It is set to be the best convention centre in the Mediterranean, with the potential to earn Palma a place amongst the top 50 destinations for international congresses and conventions.
The Student Hotel expands European presence with three new properties
The Student Hotel will increase its European portfolio to 16 properties following the introduction of three new locations by 2019. Hotels in Eindhoven (already open) and Delft will add to its business in the Netherlands, which includes two properties in Amsterdam and one in Rotterdam, The Hague, Groningen and Maastricht.
IHIF 2017: Wyndham to expand Super 8 brand in Europe
Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the expansion of its development agreement for Super 8 with established partner GS Star. In addition to expanding the brand in Germany, the agreement now includes development of Super 8 hotels in Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
IHIF 2017: IHG signs eight new Holiday Inn properties in Germany
InterContinental Hotels Group has signed eight new hotels within the Holiday Inn brand family in Germany. The announcement comes as IHG has recently reported a strong year for the market, and three consecutive record years of signings, including 17 hotels in 2016.
IHIF 2017: Rezidor reveals latest Radisson Blu acquisition
Rezidor has reconfirmed its leading position in Europe with Radisson Blu, the largest upscale hotel brand featuring 186 hotels with almost 45,000 rooms in operation.
