Ibis Styles expands Accor portfolio in Reading
AccorHotels has completed a franchise agreement for the new ibis Styles Reading Oxford Road hotel. Increasing its footprint in the city, the new ibis Styles will be AccorHotels’ fourth hotel in Reading. After the completion of the extensive renovation program, the 97-room hotel, located at 648-654 Oxford Road, will operate under the ibis Styles brand by the end of this year.
Courtyard by Marriott Belgrade City Centre set for September opening
Courtyard by Marriott has confirmed its first hotel in Serbia, the Courtyard Belgrade City Centre, will open in September. The hotel, which showcases the brand’s new European design, is dynamic and modern with a striking glass façade that contrasts against the historic city centre backdrop. The opening will mark Courtyard’s entry into its 42nd country, as the brand continues to rapidly expand globally.

NH Group signs latest luxury property in Rome
NH Hotel Group has signed a new deal to open its sixth hotel in the Italian capital city of Rome. The new hotel will be operated under the group’s premium brand, NH Collection, and will have 180 rooms, as well as dedicated meeting and event rooms. Due to open at the end of 2015, it will be the company’s third NH Collection-branded hotel in the city and its tenth in Italy.

Carlson Rezidor is opening its first hotel in Slovenia, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Ljubljana. InterContinental Hotels Group has signed InterContinental Bordeaux - Le Grand Hotel, France. The hotel will operate under a management agreement with Financière Immobilière Bordelaise. Opening later this year, the hotel will be IHG’s sixth InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in France, cementing its position as the largest luxury hotel brand in Europe.
