Vietnam’s first ever integrated destination resort will be operated by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. Frasers Hospitality adds Dalian property to burgeoning China portfolio
Frasers Hospitality, a member of Frasers Centrepoint, is on track to double its presence in China with the acquisition of a serviced residence property in the burgeoning city of Dalian. Frasers paid a total of S$100.29 million for the property. The gateway city to Northeast China, Dalian is a major port and centre for trade, industry, business and tourism.

Asian hospitality provider ONYX Hospitality Group has announced two new management contracts to operate properties in China, culminating in seven new properties to be completed on the mainland by 2018 in addition to the existing 11 properties.Two properties are ideally and strategically located in Shanghai and Xiamen.

Jumeirah Group plans three new hotels in China as Asian expansion continues
Jumeirah Group has signed three new management agreements to operate luxury hotels and resorts across China. The Jumeirah Haikou Resort is set in an exclusive golf community on a private island in Hainan; the Jumeirah Wuhan has a prime city centre location near to Hankou; and Jumeirah Nanjing is set in the Hexi new business district.
Hyatt Regency to return to Kazakhstan with Almaty property

Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo set for 2017 opening
The Ascott has brought its premier Ascott The Residence brand to Tokyo through a master lease agreement with Mitsubishi Estate Company, one of Japan’s largest real estate developers. The 129-unit Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo is slated to open in 2017, ahead of the 2020 Olympics to be held in the city.
