The Monarch Group has confirmed long held industry suspicions and cancelled its order for six Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Although the aircraft is presently three years behind estimated delivery times, this is not believed to have been responsible for the Monarch decision.
OFT forces airlines to drop debit card charges
Ryanair, easyJet and other airlines must no longer change customers for paying by debit card, the Office for Fair Trading has ruled. Credit card charges will also have to be made clearer to customers when booking online or over the phone, which has been criticised for inflating the costs of holidays.
