Millennium & Copthorne has signed two hotels in the Sultanate of Oman including the global debut of the new eco-lifestyle brand, Agarwood. The brand entered into an agreement with Al Madina Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality arm of Al Madina Real Estate Company, to develop the Group’s Agarwood brand as well as a new addition to the development pipeline for its innovative budget brand, Studio M.
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Middle East & Africa will open three new properties in the Sultanate of Oman in the coming months, starting with the launch of a global brand first, the 115-key Millennium Executive Apartments property in Muscat, in quarter one of 2015. Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Middle East & Africa has unveiled plans to launch its Studio M brand in Riyadh in partnership with Saudi owner Waseel Properties and developer Raseel Properties. The 145-key property is the first Studio M brand in the Middle East and will be centrally located in Riyadh on King Fahd Road and is due to open in quarter two of 2015.

The new WindsurferCRS system, which was designed by Sceptre Hospitality Resources, can now manage reservations for over ten million room nights and will now be the proprietary booking channel for M&C hotels around the globe.
Millennium & Copthorne has expanded its portfolio of hotels in China with the opening of the M Hotel Chengdu, the first M Hotel outside Singapore after the brand was launched in Singapore in 2000. The 196-room M Hotel Chengdu is M&C’s latest venture in China.
