As Marriott International continues its rapid expansion across Eastern Europe, the company today announced the signing of a new hotel in Russia - the 220-room Voronezh Marriott Hotel. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2015 and will operate under a management agreement with Ojsc Tsum-Voronezh.

The Crystal City Marriott, a 343-room hotel, officially unveiled its completed seven million dollar redesign, an investment by the hotel’s owners, Vornado Realty Trust and manager, Marriott International, making it a new destination for meetings, business and leisure travel to the Washington, DC area.

Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club, located on a secluded lagoon within the upscale Ko Olina Resort, recently completed its fifth development phase, delivering 132 new two- and three-bedroom villas to Marriott Vacation Club’s largest resort in the Hawaiian Islands.

Leading global hotel operator Marriott International said earlier it is on track to have 4,000 hotels in 90 countries across its 14-brand lodging portfolio by 2014. With 115,000 hotel rooms in its development pipeline, it could open between 90,000 and 105,000 new rooms around the world in 2012 through 2014, not including the planned Gaylord acquisition.

Marriott Hotels & Resorts, the signature brand of Marriott International has unveiled the finished transformation of Mallorca Marriott Son Antem Golf Resort and Spa following a year long refurbishment.

Marriott International has announced it has reached the milestone figure of 250 open and signed hotels in Asia, with the 250th hotel to be located in Bo’ao in China. This represents 129 open hotels plus a development pipeline of 121 projects - totalling more than 75,000 rooms in 15 countries.
