LATA Expo to debut in London in June
The Latin American Travel Association has launched LATA Expo. The re-titled Experience Latin America event, will take place from June 8th-10th at Magazine London, a new event space located in the heart of Greenwich.
LATA: South America poised for strong tourism growth in 2018
As 2017 draws to a close, LATA members have revealed forward booking statistics for 2018 showing positive growth in travel to Latin America, particularly to Peru, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica and Colombia.
Mason takes on newly created LATA chief executive role
As a marker of its continued growth and standing within the UK travel industry, the Latin American Travel Association has appointed a chief executive in a newly created role. Tony Mason has been appointed to the role, effective January 2017, and will support the chair, Byron Shirto and the executive committee in the governance of the association.
Lotus PR appointed by LATA from 2016
Travel specialist PR and representation agency Lotus has been appointed by the Latin American Travel Association. LATA is a trade organisation that represents airlines, hotels, wholesalers, tour operators and other Latin America tourism businesses to promote sustainable travel to and around Latin America and improve the awareness of Latin America as a tourism destination.
LATA Foundation supports three new projects in Latin America
The LATA Foundation, the UK-based charity set up by the Latin American Travel Association (LATA) to back worthwhile projects throughout the region, has announced its support for three new projects.
