Dozens feared dead following Lao Airlines crash
As many as 40 people are feared dead following a plane crash in the south-east Asian destination of Laos. A Lao Airlines operated aircraft crashed into the Mekong River in southern Laos earlier near the town of Pakse, in Champasak province.
Abacus inks deal with Lao Airlines to boost Indochina presence
Abacus International and Lao Airlines have confirmed the signing of a joint venture agreement, adding another significant milestone to Abacus’ presence in Asia Pacific. The newly penned deal will see Abacus and Lao Airlines partnering for at least ten years through to May 2021, with an option to renew for another five years.
Lao Airlines extends cooperation with APG
Lao Airlines, based in Vientiane, has extended its partnership with APG which will now represent the airline in four further markets worldwide, Netherlands, Canada, Australia and Switzerland.
