JetBlue announces new flights from Chicago to San Juan, Puerto Rico
JetBlue Airways is pleased to announce its intention to launch new daily nonstop service from Chicago’s O’Hare to San Juan. JetBlue’s third destination from the Windy City is scheduled to begin service on November 20, 2013. Flights are expected to be out for sale soon. The announcement was made today, coinciding with the airline’s affirmation of its commitment to growth on the Island with the recent privatization of San Juan’s Airport.

JetBlue Airways is launching service to its 76th city, Charleston, South Carolina. JetBlue will serve Charleston International Airport (CHS) with twice daily nonstop service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and a daily flight from Boston’s Logan (BOS).

JetBlue Airways, the digitally-minded airline, makes traveling even easier with the introduction of mobile boarding. Customers in eight of the airline’s largest cities can now download electronic boarding passes onto their cell phones using the newly re-launched version 2.0 of the JetBlue mobile app and save time and paper at check-in, security, and during the boarding process.

JetBlue Airways and Asiana Airlines have launched an interline agreement to connect each other’s networks and bring new flight options to travellers between Asia and the Americas. Through the arrangement, effective immediately, travellers can book single-ticket travel combining flights on both carriers and enjoy one-stop baggage check-in when they transfer between the airlines at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

Jetblue announces third quarter results
JetBlue Airways has reported its results for the third quarter 2012. Operating income for the quarter was $113 million, resulting in an 8.6% operating margin, compared to operating income of $108 million and a 9.0% operating margin in the third quarter of 2011.

JetBlue breaks ground on new home at JFK Terminal 5
New York’s hometown airline JetBlue has broken ground on the extension to its world class home at John F. Kennedy’s Terminal 5 to pave the way for an international arrivals facility. Set to open in early 2015, the thoughtfully-designed space includes six international arrivals gates - three new and three converted from Terminal 5 - and an International Arrivals Hall with full US Custom and Federal Inspection Services to deliver a seamless travel experience for customers arriving from international flights on JetBlue and select partner airlines.

JetBlue Airways reconfigures Embraer E190 fleet
JetBlue Airways has announced the reconfiguration of its Embraer E190 fleet to offer customers two more rows of its coveted Even More Space seats. For a small additional fee, sixteen seats in rows one, 12, 13 and 14 offer extra legroom and are now available on all of the airline’s 100-seat E190 aircraft.
JetBlue launches Providence service
JetBlue Airlines has revealed it will begin service from T.F. Green International Airport near Providence, R.I., to Florida from November 29th. T.F. Green will become the 75th destination within JetBlue’s route network.
JetBlue launches Grand Cayman services
JetBlue Airways will serve Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands from November 15th 2012 with three timess weekly service on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Saturday service from Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) beginning on November 17, 2012.
