Etihad and Jet Airways expand UAE-India connections
Etihad Airways is expanding its scheduled services between Abu Dhabi and India as strategic partner Jet Airways unveiled new routes and additional frequencies to further strengthen their partnership. From early 2017, the two airlines will expand their services between the United Arab Emirates and India by adding 28 weekly flights and three further Indian cities.
Jet Airways reveals Fare Choices pricing structure
Jet Airways is set to introduce a new flexible fare structure allowing guests more choice when booking flights. The new fare structure, named ‘Fare Choices’, will be introduced from August 17th, 2016. Jet Airways joins a select group of airlines worldwide offering a branded fare structure which offers flexibility and transparency.
Jet Airways to launch non-stop flights from Amsterdam to India
Jet Airways will launch daily non-stop flights from Amsterdam to offer significantly enhanced connectivity between Europe, the United States and India via the Netherlands. Effective March 27th, Jet Airways will operate two daily non-stop flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one each to its hubs in Mumbai and New Delhi. Jet Airways will also operate a daily flight to Toronto from Amsterdam.
Korean Air signs codeshare deal with Jet Airways
Korean Air has announced the launch of a new codeshare agreement and frequent flyer program with Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline. The codeshare agreement will start from March 1st 2016, and will offer greater convenience and choice to passengers travelling from India to Incheon, Seoul, through gateway airports in Asian destinations such as Singapore and Bangkok.
Jet Airways signs codeshare deal with Korean Air
Jet Airways has entered into a codeshare agreement and a reciprocal frequent flyer programme partnership with Korean Air. Guests travelling on both Jet Airways and Korean Air will be able to connect from multiple points in India to Seoul over various gateway points in Asia.

Jet Airways has announced a strong financial performance, with record profits of US$71 million for the third quarter ending December 31st, 2015. This is compared to US$0.5 million in quarter three of last year, providing further evidence of the growing momentum of its turnaround programme.
Jet Airways plans in-flight Wi-Fi roll-out
Jet Airways has announced the introduction of an in-flight entertainment streaming service. The service enables wireless streaming of movies, TV programmes, a wide genre of music and interactive games directly onto guests’ Wi-Fi enabled personal devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops on Jet Airways flights.
Jet Airways to launch Amsterdam flights next year
Jet Airways has announced the launch of daily non-stop services between India and Amsterdam, its new European gateway which is ideally located for convenient onward connections. With effect from March 27th, 2016, Jet Airways will operate two daily non-stop flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one each from its home hubs in Mumbai and New Delhi. Jet Airways will also operate a daily flight from Toronto to Amsterdam. Schedules of all three flights have been planned to allow quick and convenient connections between India and Toronto over Amsterdam.

Jet Airways has unveiled its app designed exclusively for Apple Watch, the first Indian airline to do so. The application will allow guests to conveniently access real time information about the status of any flight on the Jet Airways’ network, receive flight status notifications, get alerts for upcoming trips as well as updates on special deals and offers from Jet Airways.
Jet Airways confirms largest ever aircraft order
Jet Airways has announced the confirmation of its largest-ever fleet order for 75 Boeing 737 Max aircraft, the first airline in India to take delivery of the new aircraft. The order, which boosts its current fleet of 115, includes options and purchase rights for an additional 50 aircraft.
Etihad partnership drives growth at Jet Airways
The strategic investment of Etihad Airways into Jet Airways is delivering strong results for both airlines across areas including network growth, revenue enhancement and operational and cost improvements, senior executives from the airlines said today. Speaking at a media conference in Mumbai, Naresh Goyal, Jet Airways’ chairman; James Hogan, Etihad Airways’ president; and Cramer Ball, Jet Airways’ chief executive also gave other details of the significantly improved results for the Indian carrier.
Jet Airways swings to profit in 1Q
Indian carrier Jet Airways has posted its biggest quarterly net profit almost nine years, boosted by a fall in fuel costs. The Mumbai-based carrier claimed the continued improvement showed its three-year turnaround program with equity partner Etihad Airways was gaining momentum.
