InterContinental Hotel Group’s boutique brand, Hotel Indigo, has joined forces with iconic shoe makers Superga to create limited-edition sightseeing shoes to encourage guests to explore the local neighbourhood in style. The activity aims to drive awareness of the fact that every Hotel Indigo property is designed to reflect the local neighbourhood.

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), one of the world’s largest hotel companies, has opened Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv – Diamond District in the heart of the cosmopolitan Israeli city, renowned for its glamour and style. The hotel marks the debut of IHG’s boutique brand in Israel.

The hotel, which will be located in the historic downtown area’s Atlantic Bank Building, is expected to open in spring 2014.

The new Hotel Indigo London Kensington Earl’s Court is the world’s first hotel to grant Lord and Lady titles to its staff as part of their employment package. Following a revival of the Victorian era in the recent TV phenomenon Downton Abbey, each member of staff has been given a Lord of the Manor title or Lady of the Manor title with a dedicated land plot and historic coat of arms.

The Hotel Indigo Veracruz - Boca del Río has opened its doors in the Veracruz business district in Mexico. The 106-room hotel features a warm and inviting environment with vibrant décor and colorful accents.

Occupying an entire triangular block once home to the German Consulate in the Former German Concession neighbourhood, the hotel’s 11 individual villas pay homage to traditional Germanic architecture with red-brick facades and ornate cupolas. The newly-built villa-style buildings take inspiration from the old German Consulate, the former residence of a Russian businessman and a local church.
