Hong Kong Airlines has launched a daily service between Hong Kong and Fuzhou, which will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Situated in the eastern part of Fujian, Fuzhou is a prosperous modern city that serves as the economic, political, cultural and transport centre of the province.

Hong Kong Airlines has taken delivery of its third all Club Class Airbus A330-200 passenger aircraft to operate on its flagship London route. The third aircraft, which will be based at London Gatwick, completes the fleet of brand new aircraft dedicated to the all Club Class route between London and Hong Kong, which launched on March 8th 2012.

Hong Kong Airlines has taken delivery of its first all Club Class Airbus A330-200 passenger aircraft ahead of the launch of the flagship London route, and the first of 30 Airbus A320s to operate within Asia. From March 8th, Hong Kong Airlines will launch a daily non-stop service between London and Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Airlines Limited has been granted traffic rights between Hong Kong and Taiwan with immediate effect. Hong Kong Airlines will launch four daily passenger flights and all-cargo services with 650 tonnes per week on Taipei or Kaohsiung routes, commencing in the first quarter of 2012.

Hong Kong Airlines is to acquire more than 50 new aircraft over the next four years, as part of a major expansion of its operations on international and Chinese domestic routes. Together with its sister carrier, Hong Kong Express, the carrier currently operates a fleet of 18 aircraft – eight wide-bodied Airbus A330-200s and ten narrow bodied Boeing 737s – to 23 destinations in China, north and southeast Asia and Moscow.
