InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of the Holiday Inn Express Manisa - West, in Turkey. The 102-room property, scheduled to open in early 2014, will operate under a franchise agreement with Procons Turizm and be managed by T&T Consulting who currently manage the Holiday Inn Express Istanbul - Altunizade.

Laurus Corporation, a U.S.-based private real estate investment and development firm, announced that it has completed the $2.7 million renovation of the Ramada Suites Hotel at New Orleans Airport and branded the facility as a Holiday Inn Express.  The renovation included a complete overhaul of the guestrooms, public areas, exterior facade and landscaping. Additionally, a new management agreement was signed with a local management company to improve overall guest satisfaction and performance.

IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) announces the opening of the new Holiday Inn Express® Romulus/Detroit Metro Airport, less than a mile from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and less than 30 minutes from the downtown business district.

IHG has signed a franchise MDA to develop 15 new hotels in Russia by 2019, which, when open, will double the size of IHG’s estate there as it stands today, and will introduce the Holiday Inn Express brand to the region for the first time.
