Stephen Joynes MBE is the chairman and owner of Hoar Cross Hall Spa Resort, which has just won “England’s Leading Resort” at the World Travel Awards. Set in idyllic rural Staffordshire, the luxury spa resort is the favourite hang-out of an array of celebrities including Catherine Zeta Jones, Clive Owen, Robbie Williams and Girls Aloud.
Driven leader scores with Hoar Cross Hall
Stephen Joynes bought a humble mobile fish and chip van 50 years ago. He then created a café, moved on to a guesthouse, turned it into a larger hotel, then bought an empty school and converted it into a hotel. He also created yet another larger hotel and then another even larger hotel with a health hydro and now he owns and works at Hoar Cross Hall Spa Resort in the English Midlands.
