El AL has launched three direct flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport and Logan International Airport Boston on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The three weekly flights to Boston will operate on a 767-300 Boeing aircraft with 218 seats, including 22-bed like seats in Business Class and 28 seats in Economy Class Plus.
Israel flag carrier El Al has revealed plans to launch a new low cost carrier. UP will run 50 flights a week from five destinations in Europe to Israel.
Boeing has delivered EL AL Israel Airlines’ first Next-Generation 737-900ER (Extended Range) airplane. The delivery is the first of six 737-900ERs the Israeli flag-carrier has on order and is the latest addition to EL AL’s all-Boeing fleet.

Technology company Sabre Travel Network is now offering pre-paid baggage and other ancillary services from El Al. Sabre-connected travel agents worldwide can now reserve and buy pre-paid baggage, pet transfers and unaccompanied minors. Seat reservations will follow later this year.
El Al Israel Airlines and London Luton Airport have recently celebrated the second anniversary of the Tel Aviv service from the Airport. Launched in May 2009, to date the Airline has carried over 160,000 passengers on the route.

History was made at London Luton Airport on Tuesday 23rd March 2010 when the airport welcomed its first ever Boeing 777-200 type aircraft operating as a scheduled service.
