easyJet has announced the launch of its first ever services from London Gatwick to Bergen - also known as the ‘Gateway to the Fjords’, in Norway. Norway will be the 33rd country easyJet flies to with the airline expecting to carry more than 100,000 passengers between Norway and the UK annually.

Low cost carrier easyJet is increasing its services between London Gatwick and Copenhagen with an early morning departure from Copenhagen and an evening departure from London Gatwick. The move will see easyJet’s flights increase from three to four each day from 24 May 2013.

easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, celebrated its new Sharm el-Sheikh route with a camel meet and greet at check-in this morning. Bringing a flavour of Egypt to London Stansted Airport, Kokoso the camel was available for all to see at easyJet’s check-in area today - Monday 25 February. To celebrate the launch of its new route easyJet invited pupils from Great Dunmow Primary School to come along to the airport to meet Kokoso the camel and his handlers.

easyJet has confirmed it will introduce allocated seating on all of its flights – typically over 1,000 a day - from today. The airline trialled allocated seating in April with nearly two million passengers flying on 12,500 allocated seating flights.
