The Ascott has expanded its global footprint to Ireland, one of the fastest growing economies in Europe. In a deal worth €55.1 million the Singapore based company has acquired the 136-unit Temple Bar Hotel in Dublin, positioning Ascott right at the heart of one of the world’s most attractive business centres.
Qatar Airways has announced that it will offer daily non-stop flights between Doha and Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland, commencing June 12th, 2017. Situated on Ireland’s east coast, Dublin features many cultural and historic highlights and has long attracted visitors from all over the world.
Etihad Airways today announced the introduction of an additional daily year-round service between Abu Dhabi and Dublin which increases frequency on the route to 14 flights a week, effective April 1st, 2017. The second daily operation, from the beginning of the summer 2017 season, reflects Etihad Airways’ long-term commitment to the route, and coincides with the Abu Dhabi-based carrier’s tenth anniversary of flying to the Irish capital.
The Guinness Storehouse has been named Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the prestigious World Travel Awards. The award was presented to the Guinness Storehouse at the European Gala Ceremony in Forte Village, Sardinia, which was attended by hundreds of tourism and hospitality leaders from across the region.
