In line with Dorchester Collection’s continuous investment in taking the luxury experience to new levels, April will sees the unveiling of Hotel Eden, the company’s iconic property in Rome. The reopening follows an extensive 18-month restoration.
Following the launch of the highly successful Coworth Park in September 2010, Dorchester Collection is unveiling two new properties in 2011.
Hotel Bel-Air – operated by Dorchester Collection - will re-open in October after 24 months of extensive refurbishment and redesign. The new Hotel Bel-Air website now provides access to never-before-seen digital renderings which portray the thoughtful restoration; a collaborative effort between two internationally renowned design teams, Alexandra Champalimaud and Rockwell Group.
The Dorchester hotel is taking inspiration from the most festive of fairytales this year, presenting guests with a Nutcracker-themed Christmas. Props such as the Nutcracker doll, sweets and presents from English National Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker will be found throughout The Promenade.
The Dorchester, the iconic London flagship of the Dorchester Collection, will be participating in Open House London – the Capital’s largest architectural showcase – on Sunday 19 September 2010.
The Dorchester Group, the London-based hotel property and management company wholly owned by The Brunei Investment Agency, the investment arm of the Government of Brunei, has announced that it has successfully completed the transaction to purchase the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, Italy. The Hotel has been purchased from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and was part of their Luxury Collection brand. The Dorchester Group will also assume full management of the hotel which will be marketed by Leading Hotels of the World.
