White Lodging Services is pleased to announce Scott Crowley has been named as the General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Merrillville, Indiana.

As Marriott International continues its expansion throughout Europe, the company announced plans to open a second hotel in Bucharest, the 147-room Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest.

Marriott International has opened two new Courtyard by Marriott hotels in France, the Courtyard Montpellier and Courtyard Paris Boulogne. The 123-room Courtyard Montpellier is designed by star architect Jean Nouvel, and is located next to the City Hall and close range of shops and restaurants.

Bali’s latest resort opening, the Courtyard by Marriott located in the up-market enclave of Nusa Dua, recently opened its Beach Club, a relaxed seafront bistro and lounge in close proximity to the property. Situated on a private beach lined with coconut trees and tropical gardens, the Beach Club overlooks a popular surfing wave and lush peninsula and set along a promenade favored for tranquil walks and cardio exercise.

Marriott International has announced it will develop a 150-room Courtyard by Marriott Lima, under a management agreement with Inversiones La Rioja. The company already owns the JW Marriott Lima in the nearby Miraflores district and the new JW Marriott Cusco, set to open in 2013.
