Final call for votes ahead of World Travel Awards Latin America Gala Ceremony 2015

Members of the hospitality industry, consumers and tourism stakeholders from across Latin America are being encouraged to cast their ballots ahead of the deadline for votes at the World Travel Awards Latin America Gala Ceremony 2015. The ceremony will take place in Colombian capital Bogotá, on October 10th, with voting scheduled to close on August 17th.

Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the opening of the 91-room Wyndham Garden Barranquilla hotel, jointly with local partner Inversiones Rueda Leon. The hotel becomes the company’s 13th property to open in Colombia. Wyndham Garden Barranquilla is located in the heart of Barranquilla’s financial district, mere steps from several major corporations, banks, and industrial parks, as well as the world-renowned shopping for which Barranquilla and Colombia are famous.

Colombia’s national airline, Avianca, has announced that it will increase the frequency of its London to Bogota flight. Passengers wishing to fly from Heathrow to Colombia’s El Dorado International Airport will now have a choice of seven departures a week up from four.
