Brussels Airlines new route to Mumbai, India
Brussels Airlines is adding a new route between Belgium and Mumbai, India which will commence from March next year. The Belgian carrier confirmed that it would begin a five times weekly Brussels-Mumbai service which will be served by an Airbus A330 aircraft configured with Economy, Economy Privilege and Business class cabins.

Lufthansa postpones full Brussels Airlines acquisition
The executive board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG informed the company’s supervisory board at its meeting yesterday that Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines have agreed to extend – by an additional three months – the deadline for Lufthansa to decide on the call option to fully acquire Brussels Airlines’ parent company SN Airholding. Under their existing agreement, Lufthansa was required to take this decision, through which it could acquire the remaining 55 per cent of SN Airholding by the beginning of June.

Both Belgian companies have worked several months on this unique project, based on the original drawings by the hand of Hergé.
