Ascott signs with Sandhya Hotels for new properties in India
The Ascott has secured a contract with Sandhya Hotels to manage three new serviced residences in India, the world’s third largest economy. Two properties are in the major technology cities of Hyderabad and Bangalore and a third serviced residence is in Sri City, less than an hour’s drive from Chennai.

Avis Car Rental partners with Ascott for global deal
Avis Car Rental has announced the signing of a multi-year partnership agreement with the world’s largest international serviced residence owner-operator, Ascott. Under the new agreement, business and leisure travellers visiting Ascott’s brand websites, Ascott, Citadines and Somerset, will be able to make an Avis reservation by adding a vehicle rental to an existing serviced apartment reservation.
Ascott takes Citadines brand into Korea with Seoul property
Ascott has opened its first Citadines-branded property in Korea’s capital, Citadines Han River Seoul. The opening of the 149-unit Citadines Han River Seoul marks Ascott’s continued expansion in South Korea, with more than 1,000 units in operation including the 410-unit Somerset Palace Seoul and 468-unit Citadines Haeundae Busan.
Ascott sees international growth accelerate in 2016
The Ascott Limited is poised to outpace its growth in 2015, as the world’s largest international serviced residence owner-operator secures more than 5,000 units in 27 properties in the first six months of this year. Ascott is acquiring its first serviced residence in Docklands, Melbourne as part of its AUD$500 million strategic partnership with Quest Apartment Hotels, one of the largest serviced apartment operators in Australia.

Ascott signs two serviced apartment deals in Saudi Arabia
The Ascott has continued its strong growth in the Middle East by inking contracts to manage its first two serviced residences in Al Khobar, one of the main metropolitan cities in Saudi Arabia’s oil-rich Eastern Province. The 172-unit Ascott Corniche Al Khobar and 133-unit Somerset Downtown Al Khobar are slated to open in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
