Air Seychelles inks distribution deal with Sabre
Air Seychelles has selected global technology provider, Sabre Corporation to provide a full suite of technology that will support the carrier’s global business as well as enhance its guest experience and revenue-generating capabilities. The agreement will see Air Seychelles move to SabreSonic, an integrated suite of applications that automates critical processes such as reservations, inventory, and departure control enabling a unique differentiated customer experience.
Air France signs Air Seychelles as latest codeshare partner
Air France and Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, have signed a landmark codeshare agreement to provide travellers with better connections between France, wider Europe, and the Seychelles. The agreement was signed by Roy Kinnear, chief executive of Air Seychelles, and Frédéric Gagey, chairman of Air France, and follows the establishment of a memorandum of understanding between the two airlines in April 2015.
Kinnear to take over leadership of Air Seychelles
Air Seychelles has announced the appointment of Roy Kinnear to the position of chief executive, with effect from July 1st 2015. Kinnear joins Air Seychelles from strategic partner Etihad Airways, where he held the position of senior vice president, revenue management and planning, responsible for leading the airline’s revenue management, inventory control, pricing, and revenue forecasting.

Air France signs cooperation deal with Air Seychelles
Air Seychelles and Air France have signed a memorandum of understanding, heralding a new era of commercial cooperation between the two carriers. The agreement was signed at a meeting in Aix en Provence in France between Joël Morgan, Seychelles minister of foreign affairs and transport and chairman of Air Seychelles, and Frédéric Gagey, chairman of Air France.
Air Seychelles launches new Paris departures
Air Seychelles will launch three weekly non-stop Paris flights from July 2015, replacing the current twice-weekly service to the French capital via Abu Dhabi, and dramatically increase weekly frequencies on its regional network from April 2015. This non-stop Paris service will continue to be operated to Charles de Gaulle airport on an Air Seychelles Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Air Seychelles builds presence in Europe with Etihad codeshare
Air Seychelles continues to build its presence in Europe with the expansion of its codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways to include flights to Athens and Belgrade. Manoj Papa, Air Seychelles chief executive, said: “This expansion adds two important cities to our network, making Europe more accessible to our customers and strengthening our brand presence in this important region.”

Air Seychelles and Hong Kong Airlines in codeshare deal
Air Seychelles and Hong Kong Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement to provide travellers with enhanced connections in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Under the codeshare agreement, Air Seychelles will place its ‘HM’ code on Hong Kong Airlines’ flights between Hong Kong and the capital of Thailand, Bangkok.

Etihad and Air Seychelles extend codeshare
Etihad Airways has extended its codeshare agreement with Air Seychelles to include the island carrier’s new services between Paris and Abu Dhabi, scheduled to commence on 2 July 2014.
