AeroMobile launches inflight mobile service for Air France-KLM
Customers on selected Air France-KLM flights can now be able to send text messages, check emails and browse the internet, thanks to a partnership with AeroMobile, the leading inflight mobile phone operator.

Sabre, a global technology company, has started selling pre-paid baggage for Air France-KLM. The airline has chosen to sell this ancillary product through Sabre using industry technology standards developed by ATPCo and IATA.
Air France, KLM step up connectivity from Scotland
Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines are increasing flight frequencies from Scotland to the world for their Summer Schedule. KLM is increasing its daily flights from five to six from Edinburgh to Amsterdam and from four to five from Glasgow. Air France has increased the frequency between Edinburgh and Paris with one additional flight.

Jean-Cyril Spinetta has confirmed he will be stepping down as chairman and chief executive of the Air France-KLM airline group. He will be joined by vice chairman and deputy chief executive and Leo van Wijk, with both leaving their posts on July 1st.

Air France-KLM sees losses widen as restructuring costs bite
Air France-KLM saw net losses increase 47 per cent to €1.19 billion in 2012, after a €471 million restructuring charge and a €890 million increase in its fuel bill hit results. However, the Franco-Dutch airline saw operating losses fall to €300 million, down from €353 million the year before.

Thanks to the deal, travel agencies worldwide will continue to have guaranteed access to the full range of fares and inventory relating to more than 74.8 million seats and 90.000 flights operated annually by Air France and KLM through the Amadeus system.

Etihad Airways and Air France-KLM have signed a historic agreement to codeshare on flights across the airlines’ networks, the first phase of a much larger strategic partnership which commences on October 28th.
