Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific conference and trade show today announced expanded details about the speakers for its second annual event, taking place September 17-18, 2012 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This conference, from the organizers of Cruise Shipping Miami, the largest cruise gathering, is set to bring the cruise industry together to examine the emerging Asia-Pacific cruise market.

Tim Davies, Director at Royal Haskoning, will be speaking in the session Terminal Design & Development: How Deployment Will Drive Infrastructure Investment.  Mr. Davies will be speaking about sea port boarding bridges (SPBB) and commented about an innovative new concept that Royal Haskoning is working on for the Kai Tak terminal. "Royal Haskoning are currently supporting the Hong Kong Tourist Commission with the procurement of the 5 SPBB's for the new Kai Tak terminal.  We have included within the Performance Specification several requirements for including Renewable Energy technologies within the final design.  This should be the way forward for all new build SPBB's anywhere in the world."
