All black cabs to accept credit cards from October

Travelling in one of London's black cabs is about to join the modern world, with confirmation every London taxi will be required to accept card payments for their fares by October this year. The move was approved by the board of Transport for London following a consultation in which an overwhelming 86 per cent of respondents backed the move.
