Emirates has revealed that its service between Dubai and Dakar, currently operated by an Airbus A340-300, will be replaced with a Boeing 777-300ER from September. The change to the larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will offer an enhanced on-board experience for Emirates’ Senegalese customers and those travelling to Dakar from across the airline’s network.

Thomson Airways welcomes latest Dreamliner to fleet

Thomson Airways’ tenth Dreamliner touched down at Manchester Airport earlier. The airline’s managing director, John Murphy, landed the aircraft after flying 3,950 miles across the Atlantic from the Boeing Factory in Charleston, South Carolina. Its arrival is extra special for the airline, as it is the first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to enter the Thomson fleet.

The board of directors of Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad has announced leadership changes at Malaysia Airlines Berhad, which will see current chief executive Christoph Mueller handing over to chief operating officer Peter Bellew in an accelerated leadership transition. Mueller, who resigned on March 10th and is serving his notice period to September 9th, will go on leave and step down from the MAB Board from tomorrow.
