Industry leaders from across the tourism industry have arrived in London for the annual World Travel Market, with World Travel Awards on hand to reward the leading brands for their success.

Following a sumptuous Gala Ceremony at London’s Grovsner Hotel on Sunday, the industry leading prizes were handed out to those who had truly redefined achievement in 2010.

First up Clive Wratten of Ethihad was presented with the trophy for “World’s Leading Airline” - Pictured Left.

Celebrating its seventh birthday this year, Etihad was collecting the trophy for the second successive year.

Malaysia Airlines was also rewarded, with chairman Tan Sri Munir Majid presented with two trophies by WTA founder and president Graham Cooke.

The brand was recognoised as Asia’s Leading Airline and Asia’s Leading Airline Business Class.

Finally, Profile Hotels managing director Mario Christoforou was presented with the trophy for Mediterranean’s Leading Boutique Hotel by Chris Frost from WTA.
