World Travel Awards has issued a final call for votes ahead of the annual Middle East Gala Ceremony to be held in Dubai on May 5th.

The event has become a hot ticket for organisations across a myriad of categories, with many leading lights expected to arrive in the tourism hub ahead of the event.

Firmly established as the leading accolade in the tourism industry, World Travel Awards is celebrating its iconic 20th year in the business in 2013.

In the Middle East, tourism market leaders will compete in over 120 award categories at the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa.

World Travel Awards 2013 Grand Tour will include regional legs in the Maldives, Antalya (Turkey), Kenya, Peru, Antigua and Singapore throughout the year.

The winners of these regional heats will progress to the Grand Final, which will take place at the end of 2013.

The ceremonies are widely regarded as the best networking opportunities in the travel industry, attended by government and industry leaders, luminaries and international media.
