Windstar debuts redesigned website

Windstar Cruises, which operates a three-ship fleet of luxury yachts that explore hidden harbors and secluded coves of the world’s most treasured destinations, launched its stylish redesigned website,, which captures the essence of the Windstar brand and experience, offers enhanced functionality, provides tools for consumers and travel professionals to plan voyages and features a new Blog.

The new design emulates the luxury sailing experience Windstar is known for. The Home Page features colorful, revolving imagery, featured sailings, special offers and a voyage search tool. Key elements of the site that users can explore include: Destinations, Yachts, Windstar Style, Special Offers and Already Booked along with sections for Windstar’s Foremast Club members, Travel Professionals and Media.

Featured on the Destinations page are the eight destinations that Windstar sails: Italy, the Mediterranean, Greek Isles, Caribbean, Costa Rica, Panama Canal, the Baltic, and the Transatlantic. Users can click to view detailed itineraries, maps, pricing, shore excursions, ship and port information by sailing. 

The Yachts page describes each sleek sailing yacht in the Windstar fleet in rich detail including accommodations, amenities, itineraries and images along with 360-degree virtual tours and deck plans.

Windstar Style captures the feeling of sailing aboard and provides information on Windstar’s awards and accolades, popular enrichment voyages along with information on weddings and honeymoons.


The Special Offers page highlights the latest offers by destination, along with itineraries and pricing for each sailing. 

The Already Booked section contains general information, responses to frequently asked questions, passport requirements, immigration forms, the passage contract, special requirements form, travel protection, cruise contract and WSC personalized services. Guests can also easily pre-book spa services and shore excursions from here. There is also a link to Windstar gifts and apparel highlighting a unique collection of apparel and gear that can be purchased online for wearing onboard or ashore.

Shortly, Windstar will unveil its new Travel Agent Center to assist travel professionals with marketing and selling Windstar. Travel professionals are the lifeblood of Windstar’s business and the new Travel Agent Center will bring the latest in customization technologies to help travel professionals market their brand while selling the Windstar story. Windstar’s Travel Agent Center will provide tools, updates on promotional schedules, access to Windstar’s extensive image library, group policy information and Star Club membership benefits.

The new Blog will explore Windstar’s enchanting destinations, highlighting magical moments that happen on board, sharing real-time stories from guests and crew, along with behind-the-scenes highlights, adventures, enrichment voyages, shore excursions, new amenities, travel tips and exclusives.

Other enhancements include social media icons Facebook, Twitter and YouTube displayed on each page allowing visitors to share content and a redesigned brochure request and E-SAIL sign up which also displays on all pages.
