Whittaker takes up chief operating officer role with bmi regional

bmi regional has announced the appointment of Martin Whittaker as chief operating officer.

Whittaker joins bmi regional from Babcock International Mission Critical Services, where he was a board level executive.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Simpson, chief executive, bmi regional, said: “Martin is a highly qualified, experienced and respected aviation executive, and we’re excited about the calibre of knowledge, business acumen and project management skills that he brings to our organisation.

With over 35 years’ experience in the aviation industry, he has held leadership roles in the airline, aircraft leasing and airborne critical services sectors.
