Waldorf Astoria signs up for Jakarta property
Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a new management agreement with PT Putragaya Wahana to introduce the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resorts property in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Scheduled to open in 2018, the 181-key Waldorf Astoria Jakarta will be the second property of the legendary luxury brand’s portfolio in Indonesia.

Designed to raise the level of the luxury hospitality experience to new heights, Waldorf Astoria Jakarta will be located along Jalan M.H. Thamrin road in the heart of the central business district and is approximately 32 kilometres away from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
Well served by major roadways, the hotel’s immediate vicinity is home to country headquarters of multinational corporations, government offices and embassies and is an ideal environment for corporate travellers to conduct business.
In addition, the hotel offers direct access to the city’s transportation network as well as convenient access to restaurants and shopping by car.

Currently set to be the tallest hotel in the city and built as a 74-story mixed-use development, Waldorf Astoria Jakarta will join the icons of the bustling city’s skyline with its striking architecture by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
The hotel will offer 181 exquisite, well-appointed guest rooms and suites sized at 60 square metres.
Reflecting the brand’s astute sophistication and prestige, Waldorf Astoria Jakarta will delight guests with the finest culinary experiences at its all-day dining restaurant, speciality restaurant, destination bar and the signature Peacock Alley lobby lounge.
The hotel will also host exclusive meetings and events within its 2,000 square-metre ballroom, several state-of-the-art meeting rooms and a business centre.
