Voyages to Antiquity announces expanded 2014 Mediterranean program

Voyages to Antiquity, the cruise industry’s premier specialty enrichment provider, is delighted to announce the release of its 2014 Mediterranean brochure, featuring an expanded Black Sea program, a unique chance at in-depth exploration of Istanbul and Athens, and an all-new Spring Grand Voyage to start the season.

“Voyages to Antiquity aims to connect today’s traveler with the history, art and cultures of the ancient world, and our 2014 Mediterranean program delivers on that promise, highlighting over 20 UNESCO World Heritage sites throughout the Mediterranean,” says James J. Applebaum , Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Voyages to Antiquity.

“Building upon the success of our 2013 Mediterranean program, we’ve enhanced our repertoire to meet increased demand to key destinations including the Black Sea region and Greek islands, while staying true to our core philosophy.”

Special highlights of the 2014 Mediterranean season include:
*  An all-new Spring Grand Voyage.  Sailing from Athens to Istanbul, this exciting Grand Voyage kicks off the 2014 season with a comprehensive exploration of the legacy of the Roman Empire and Greater Greece.
*  The rich history of the Black Sea region.  The 2013 Black Sea itineraries were so well-received, Voyages to Antiquity is now offering four sailings to the Black Sea region in 2014, including the line’s first cruise combining the Greek Islands and the Black Sea.
*  An extensive look at Istanbul and Athens.  The 2014 program includes two unique routes between Istanbul and Athens, which can be combined to form the most in-depth cruise in this region currently available anywhere.
*  New ports of call for 2014.  Guests will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World in Bodrum, Turkey (the remains of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus), as well as the beautiful Greek islands of Syros and Kos.

In conjunction with the release of the 2014 Mediterranean brochure, Voyages to Antiquity is offering an early booking discount including free airfare and up to $1,500 stateroom savings on select 2014 voyages when booked by September 30, 2013.
