von Essen hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine de Villiers as Spa Manager for Hotel Verta.

Hotel Verta lands at The London Heliport on 12th September 2010 and will be the first integrated hotel heliport solution in Europe. Part of the von Essen collection, Hotel Verta is the group’s first London based property and the third hotel in the Metropolitan Set.  Catherine’s role will encompass the opening of Spa Verta to create a new level of urban spa experience renowned for attention to detail and authentic spa experience.

The Spa Verta experience commences in the Spa Vitality Suite, with fully equipped fitness room and sumptuous spa facilities, including vitality pool and thermal rooms. On the Spa therapy floor guests will find 5 treatment rooms and the serenity of the Spa Verta’s relaxation room. With a dedicated spa concierge service, guests are guaranteed to emerge recharged and refreshed.

The spa cocoons guests in a luxurious, rejuvenating environment offering a sanarium, heated lounges, steam room, sauna, foot spa, experience showers, gym and signature spa treatments.

Catherine joins von Essen with more than 4 years experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Her most recent position was at the Langham, London Hotel where she held the position of Assistant Manager.
