Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka opens to guests in Delhi

After a successful presence in New Delhi for over three decades, the Taj Group has announced the launch of Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka.

The opening is a significant milestone, representing the 30th Vivanta by Taj hotel within the Taj portfolio.

Strategically located within close proximity to the airport and the business district of Gurgaon, the hotel is a short drive from Lutyen’s Delhi, ideal for business as well as leisure travellers.

Contemporary in style, Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka’s architecture and interiors have been conceived by the Hong Kong based RAD that sets out to re-define urbanism, with cutting edge architecture, for emerging cities in South Asia.

Spanning seven acres, the hotel unfolds like an Origami.

The unique theme running through the hotel is geometric patterns mirroring Indian motifs.

The lushly landscaped lawns and sunlight pouring in give the hotel a bright and airy feel.

Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka, New Delhi features 250 spacious rooms including 17 uniquely designed suites and a luxurious Presidential Nirvana suite.

The rooms are designed to look like modern day abodes with jagged angles in the roof and walls, complemented with geometric patterns on the carpet.

The Rhythm Lounge is an eclectic getaway, exclusively for premium indulgence, deluxe allure, premium temptation and Presidential Nirvana suite guests.   

The hotel offers a range of authentic cuisines appealing to all tastes.

Creo the all-day dining restaurant features an interactive kitchen offering multiple cuisines, ranging from Indian and Italian, to a Sushi bar and versatile Teppanyaki.

The Indus Express represents pre-Independence Punjab and the provincial five rivers’ cuisine with some of the classics of Pothovar, Rawalpindi, Amritsar, Khyber and Lahore.

Caramel - the Deli, serves snacks, delicate hors d’oeuvres, an organic selection of teas and coffee along with bakery fineries.

Guests can sample a mix of Vivanta signature cocktails at Tipple - the bar.

For those in search of rest and relaxation, guests are able to retreat to the tranquil sanctity of Jiva Spa, a luxurious haven with five spa treatment suites. 

Blending ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary therapies, Jiva Spa offers rejuvenation therapies, ranging from ethnic aromatherapy massages, time-honoured treatments, body scrubs and wraps.

Guests can also enjoy Celsius, the pool and a fully equipped Fitness Centre.
